My prespective comes from the beliefe if Pantheism alone. So if this doesnt sum up to any of ya, well...
In order to understand the concept of "God" one must forget the word god, and everything that he learned about it in school, or in church, the synagog or anywhere that dictated and scared him into blieving GOD is an ENTITY. I see's god and any words which describes god as false. 'God' is beyond words that describe.
Nevertheless, we have no telepathy so we shall have to stick to words...
God, to me, is seen and felt as two things, Infinity+The Present. (As said in judaism, God is called in his 'sacred' name - Jehova, which means in hebrew, with a bit of manipualtion, the present - Ha Hove [there are many translations to that name, I like that one tha most :} ] )
Now, becuase we are human afterall, we cannot fathom infinity, nor can most of us reallllly expiriance the present as a whole. Many things divert us from that goal. So how does one degrade the concepts of infinity and the present to something attainable? Well, like in math, you convert it into something we can undersatnd with our humble minds.
Lets shrink our cosmos into something alot more smaller. I will take my example, College, and try and give you a glimpse of my idea...
God could be seen as the sum of all things, thus if this college is the cosmos, then everything in it is god.
Take all the people who learn in that college; their complex personality which its conciousness is a shred of its wholeness, concidering the Sub conciousness. take their instincs, their knowledge, their needs and wants. Their physical ability, the diversity of their body...Their spiritual purity, and sum all that into one 'entity'. Is that god? maybe...but hey wait there just a minute if you dont mind, what about the none-human animals? The dogs, cats, birds, insects, germs. The flora! Plants!....Then the ground, the stones, the air, the skies the clouds the walls the CHAIRS THE TABLES THE CLOTH......endless, only in one tiny college...
And with all its attributes, and all its charactaristics, is that god?
Well a good mathematician might be able to sum that all up into a good, long, esoteric equation...
But can one do that for the whole cosmos?
So if you see things eye to eye with me, dont you ask yourself, how could one be arrogant enough to suggest that GOD spoke to Abraham, litteraly? That JESUS, is the SON of God? That god gets angry specificly in a certain time or that he loves? That god has a personality, that he wrote a BOOK for us?.... A face....and the worst of all, THAT god created MAN in his own IMAGE! Ha! What arrogance! crude arrogance....
I see god as everythign, all the time, all the way. Does he have a plan? well I think that it only takes irony, and the present reality, and the study of science, to see that things are way to perfect in nature to suggest there is no creator.
A clock is a creation, someone created it....Is there anything that clockworks better then the known cosmos? I see not such a thing.
